Pacific Friends Fund
Overview
Pacific Friends Fund (PFF) is an extensive fundraising organization established by primarily Japanese international students in Reno, Nevada. Our aim is to relieve victims of the major earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan on March 11, 2011.
Our goals also include:
To introduce our Japanese traditional culture to the people of the United States through fund raising campaigns.
To provide statistical information regarding the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
To begin the project of rebuilding with a positive perspective, and encourage the idea of strong survivors instead of suffering victims.
To create fundraising efforts for the victims of other natural disaster around the world.
To expand our project over the West coast of the United States and beyond, by franchising the organizational system.
Each of our project members is fully responsible for the custody of donations, and we will strive to show appreciation for the generous attitude, compassion, and kindness of our donors.
PFF Reno is currently planning fundraising campaigns and several charity events at the University of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College.
PFF is also proud to launch our official website, which allows easy, fast, and secure online donations through Paypal.
The branches of PFF are established in Chico, San Francisco, and Las Vegas so far, with other locations planned as the organization continues to expand.
All proceeds collected by PFF will be remitted to the American Red Cross and used for the medical care of victims of the earthquake in Japan.

Pacific Friends Fundはポジティブな義援活動をモットーに活動する団体です。
短期目標(今セメ中)は$50,000(リノでの金額なので各自で金額設定して下さい)で長期的にはとりあえず1年間はやるつもりです。
ミッションは、
1. 日本文化の普及と義援活動を統合する
2. 地震情報の拡散
3.笑顔を与える活動(被災者意識からではなくポジティブな活動展開)
4.世界中の義援活動をリードする存在へ(将来的なビジョン)
戦略は、
1. Paypal、街頭募金、募金箱の設置を用いた3段階のDonation System
2.具体的な情報提供によってドナーを増やす
3.折り鶴などをドナーにプレゼントして日本文化の発信とドナーとのコミュニケーションをはかる
4.定期的に色々なイベント(例えば学校のクラブを使って)を仕掛けてその都度義援活動を展開する。これにより義援活動の長期化を可能にする。
5. キャンパス外での活動によりコミュニティとの連携を確保。例えばローカルのビジネスにスポンサーになってもらうという形で義援金を募り、その代わりにPFF全力で宣伝をしていく。
集まった義援金は各支部で一時管理して、それを最終的にはリノの本部で全て集金してAmerican Red Crossに送金します。
つまり同じ団体名やストラテジーを用いて活動はするけど各地全く違った独自のイベントなどを企画して活動をするといった言わば義援活動のフランチャイズ化です。団体公式サイトもこちらで早急に用意しますので各地で一からやらなくても大丈夫です。
同じ団体名を使った方が知名度を上げやすいし、絶対に効果的だと思います。
祈るだけでは人は救えません。力を合わせて莫大な量の義援金を集めて実利的にビジネスライクに活動していきましょう。
